How long does it take for penicillin to start working for 4 year old?

Few hours: Penicillin starts to work as long as it is absorped if given orally that is within few hours and keep working and peaks somewhere after 5 days, it is usually given for 10 days course but it starts to work a little earlier if given by intramuscular route and immidiately if given intravenously.
