Is this penicillin allergy? i have uctd and one of my symptoms is petechiae. last year i was on penicillin and petechiae got worse after 1 week on it. it hasn't got better since. docs want me to take amoxicillin now for another infection should i?

Your symptom after taking PCN last year was not consistent with PCN allergy so I think you can take amoxicillin with caution, i.e. if itching or rash occurs, stop the abx right away and if you have swollen lips or breathing difficulty, go to ER.
