ITP: Is your ITP controlled and with what agents. Kidney donation is like any other surgery, can be laparoscopic, and laparoscopic with hand assist and finally open. The risk of your bleeding and not the kidney itself. if your transplant ctr is willing to screen and ur plts are stable and functional and bleeding risk is reduced u may donate. Best to call the transplant center and see them and discuss.
