Does anyone knows how effective is rituximav if i have itp?

Response rate 20-30%: Recent review in blood in may 2012 looked at several articles and found a 5-year response rate in adults to be around 26%. Meaning these patients had a sustained elevation of their platelet count for 5 years. Initially the response rate is close to 60%. It is given weekly for 4 weeks. So in summary, it works well. Hope this helps.
