Shop around: If you are paying out of pocket for pt shop around for the best care with the cost being a consideration. The referring doctor should be able to refer you to several different therapy places they have sent patients to before. "thousands" implies the cost for 4 hours is at least $2000 meaning 500/hour that seems a bit steep ( to be diplomatic). ;-).
