I have had xrays on my left knee to see what is wrong with it due to it being swollen and hurting back in july. i was diagnosed with have patella in both knees. after physical therapy, my swelling went down - but now its back when i am moving a lot. it doesnt hurt but there is a lot of fluid on the knee and it seems to go away when i work out. but swells when im doing daily activities: walking, etc. wondering if i need to go back to the doctor or continue pt exercises swollen left knee?

Knee problems: The word patella means knee cap. So perhaps part of the name of your condition is missing. Physical therapists often teach you how to do particular exercises correctly so that you can continue to do them on your own. So, continued home physical therapy may be a go thing. Consider the foot : The previous recommendations I agree with. I will a add possible alignment problem or biomechanics of the lower leg. Orthotics can help this condition. Thus allowing the patella to track properly.
