Consider this: Depending on age and medical condition, she may have suffered blood vessel obstruction of retinal artery, and may well possess significant risk for future additional strokes. Need to evaluate risk factors, and use proactive interventions. Consider usage of an antiplatelet agent, such as clopidigrel, or aggrenox. Check heart and peripheral vasculature.
