Yes: Any antiinflammatory like nsaids( Ibuprofen or naprosyn (naproxen) like meds) will help. Remember to use the smallest possible dosis for the shortest period of time protecting your stomach with food, antacids, h2blockers ( zantac) or ppis (prilosec).

Costochondritis Rx: Costochondritis denotes a painful inflammation of the ribs and cartilage. The best first line treatment is an anti-inflammatory medication like Ibuprofen (motrin, advil) or Naproxen (alleve). Patients with stomach ulcers should not take these medications.
