A member asked:

Can i still use celecoxib as an cure for my chest pain due to costochondritis. i was diagnosed last month (april) and my doctor gave me that and i stop taking meds after a week but the pain is still coming back. can you help me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes if the pain is similar and your doctor prescribed it. If you want, you can take acetaminophen 500 mg twice a day for 5-7 days in addition or in place of celecoxib. Also, please pay attention to the exercise regimen if you are doing as reducing pull of pectorals may help the healing as of my personal observation, no scientific study that I know of. Hope it helps.
