Couple options: Please look at muscle energy and strain counterstrike osteopathic techniques which I have utilized successfully for this problem. If this doesn't work, I typically do ultrasound guided injections of the area with good success. Everything from cortisone, prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP). Lastly in refractory cases a surgeon can excise (cut out) the offending inflamed cartilage.

Ans: Can try Tylenol (acetaminophen). Ans change your habit ex. Do you exercise a lot? Also the pain may just eventually resolve on its own
