There is good treatm: Migraine is a chronic, long term problem, but it has good treatment. It can also go away as you grow older. The best medicines are called triptans which you can get from a neurologist. You should keep the pain medicne with you and take it right away as soon as you feel the headache coming.

Triptans: The triptans are a class of medications specifically indicated for the treatment of migraine. They include imitrex, maxalt, relpax, (eletriptan) amerge, frova, zomig, and axert. Generally, they are taken at headache onset. If headache or associated symptoms are not resolved in 2 hours, then a 2nd pill can be taken. Old medicines include the ergotamines.
