Prevention: Several successful ways, such as prescription items (Topamax, Depakote, Beta and calcium channel blockers) but OTC remedies such as feverfew, butterbur, riboflavin, CoQ-10, magnesium. Also Botox. Acute interventions with triptans. See headache specialist and get this started.

Botox and Surgery: Long term relief of migraines can be achieved with botox. If you have a good response, you may be a candidate for surgery. Surgery has been shown to dramatically decrease the frequency and intensity of migraines. www.themigrainereliefcenter.com.
