Enjoy them: Weight is ultimately calories in (protein, carbs, fats, alcohol -- not the key) and calories out (fitness activities, other). People tend to overeat sweets, starches -- but i'd be amazed to learn that someone groged to obesity on raspberries or oranges. They're better than candy in every respect and even if they weren't, you ought to enjoy what you like.

Good for you: The nutritional value of fruit especially berries make them good for you in spite of their carb content. Carb loaded foods without the extra nutrition are the ones that are important to avoid. Like everything else moderation is your best friend...Too much of a good thing is not good. The basic rule to keep in mind when trying to lose weight is that you should eat less calories and exercise.
