Patience also needed: 23 year old male wants to loose weight by cutting out red meats and only consume minimal carbs, eating more fruit/veg and more water. Would that help? Sure but other protein sources fish/chicken/legumes are needed for good health, as is exercise, aerobics/ swimming. Patience also needed. Weight gained over many months/ years need time to melt away. Stay encouraged.
