A member asked:

Hello sir i have a duplex ureter in my left kidney but my doctor said that their is no any problem tell me how this occur or any treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I think you mean : That you have a duplicated collecting system of the left kidney. That is a congenital condition; you were born that way, but it was just discovered on recent imaging. The only potential problem is that the ureters are smaller on that side, so smaller stone can get stuck. But most people don't form stones, so no worries.
