Information: Fixing the septum may not have anything to do with the sinuses. However fixing the septum may improve breathing.

Not necessarily: If you are assymptomatic it would be hard for me to recommend that you have surgery. If on the other hand you are having trouble breathing a septoplasty may help. It probably won't do much for your sinusitis.

Maybe : I often find that patients with a deviated septum are really not aware how much it affects them initially. It can affect their sleep, physical activity, cause snoring, and make cold symptoms much worse. If it is moderate to severe deviation I would have the septoplasty done sling with submucosal resection of the inferior turbinates
