Possibly: If you are having recurrent sinus infections, you should have ti evaluated with a scope. You may have a deviated septum or even enlarged turbinates. If thats the case, an ENT physician can perform surgery to help clear the passages.

Deviated septum: A deviated septum is a common issue. It can be caused by trauma, position in utero and even during the birth process. If there are symptoms like nasal obstruction, snoring or recurrent sinusitis, have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist. Sinusitis does not cause a septal deviation and the only treatment for the deviated septum is surgery.
