Likely 4cm: If i had to guess, would guess that it is 4 cm-not uncommon to find cysts during pregnancy and if you have no symptoms, it will likely be followed through pregnancy and then postpartum. We usually refer to ovarian cysts in terms of centimeters, rather then inches. I would vote with the doctor and guess that the tech was trying to be reassuring, but was inaccurate...

Hello! I had a pelvic ultrasound (non transvaginal) and it showed a cyst on my right ovary of 4 cm. Are pelvic ultrasounds sufficient enough to show ovarian cysts without transvaginal? I turned the vaginal one. Doc wants to monitor cyst?
Why would my doc change my pelvic ultrasound to a ct scan? They thought it was a ovarian cyst. But the pain occurred on 11/10 after lifting at the gym. Would scan show a hernia or a cyst if thats the issue? Im on low dose bcp?
