Maybe: Unless a woman is known to be infertile, she cannot presume to be infertile just because she is in her 40's or just because she has an ovarian cyst. Babies happen. Thus, if trying not to become a mother at a late age, be sure to use good, reliable birth control until menopause occurs. One's Ob-Gyn doctor or Primary Care doctor can help decide on which birth control method is best, as time passes.
