I had a large ovarian cyst rupture about a week and half ago. i was in bad pain. ultrasound showed fluid. the pain is improving each day. little pain left in pelvic and hip. but much much better. do i need go back to doc or can i wait a little longer?

See your GYN physician for an exam and further testing, and ask about low dose oral bcp's to reduce cyst formation and pre-menopausal estrogen withdrawal symptoms at age "42".

Hello! I had a pelvic ultrasound (non transvaginal) and it showed a cyst on my right ovary of 4 cm. Are pelvic ultrasounds sufficient enough to show ovarian cysts without transvaginal? I turned the vaginal one. Doc wants to monitor cyst?
Why would my doc change my pelvic ultrasound to a ct scan? They thought it was a ovarian cyst. But the pain occurred on 11/10 after lifting at the gym. Would scan show a hernia or a cyst if thats the issue? Im on low dose bcp?
