See a dentist!: It may be erupting wisdom teeth (if it's directly behind the last visible tooth) or it may be a symptom of tmd, commonly called tmj, that involves the jaw joint. A dentist can tell you which it is and what needs to be done to fix it.

Occlusion: It could be the way your teeth and/or jaws come together. You may have a malocclusion, one of the most common causes of jaw joint (tmd) problems. Your dentist may want you to see an orthodontist if you bite is out of whack.
