Blood vessels?: Vascular area on ultrasound usually mean areas with increased blood flow, and sometimes mean the vessels themselves. Since the patient is lactating, the breast is very metabolically active, and needs increased blood flow, so the blood vessels are larger. Biopsy results concordant and benign, which is good news.
