I'm 50 yr. old/f. i'm obese&hypertensive.aside from med for my hypertension, i take 81mg of aspirin to protect my heart. is taking aspirin right?

YES.: Asprin is good, but if you don't like the hypertension and what it may do to you, you'll become significantly less obese. Years ago in medical school i learned that it takes a mile of capillaries to support a pound of fat tissue. Think of that: every time the heart beats... Time t take being kind to yourself seriously.
