Can i have pulmonary hypertension if my echo showed no issues with my heart as well as a chest xray that showed no issues. trying to figure out breathing issues after covid. thought it was anxiety but took a xanax and it was still there. 34 yr old?

Possible...: It is possible to have pulmonary hypertension with a normal echo, especially if it is milder. The diagnosis is then made via a right heart catheterization, where the pressures leading from the heart to the lungs are measured. This is an invasive test so non-invasive tests are typically done first, including a CT scan of the chest, pulmonary function tests, etc. See lung doctor for breathing eval
