Would taking 100mg of topiramate for migraines be okay for someone who is already quite underweight?

Not my first choice: While i would be concerned about triggering additional weight loss, topamax (topiramate) is a broadly effective treatment for many patients. If all other first line agents have been tried, it would not be unreasonable to at least try it, but with a very low threshold to stop treatment if weight loss continues.
