Mild HCM: Mild septal hypertrophy does not require treatment either with surgery or alcohol ablation - these techniques are reserved for severe septal hypertrophy with severe obstructive symptoms. The choice of which is to use is institution specific - it should be the technique used most often and successfully at the treating institution.

Not needed: Leave it alone. The cures you mention sound worse than the issue. If you have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, you should be seeing a specialist familiar with this disease.
