Just had sinus surgery and was wondering how long i will be sore in xhest and throat area and what i can do if saline rinsedont get all blood outnose?

Suggestions: Not sure why chest should hurt unless muscle relaxants used during surgery. Sore throat either from breathing tube or bloody drainage into it.Expect bloody crusting for 2-3 weeks as it takes about 4-6 weeks for the sinus and nasal lining to recover to the point of self-cleaning. Until then be consistent with saline rinses. Afrin spray for 3-4 days may help saline get into sinuses better to clean.
