Maybe: If your doctor said it was fasciitis it might have been, but fasciitis doesn't unsuallyhave swelling. Was he treated? Your discription sounds like infecion or phlebitis. If it re-occurs maybe you should get a second opinion.

?: The dr said it was plantar fascitiis then a vein infection? The two are clearly different. Regardless, you stated your husband was better.....So everything is good. If you were asking the diffence between the two, there is a clear difference and the should be no confusion.
