My husband had pain and swelling in his foot. the doctordiagnosed plantar fasciitis. three days later, his swelling isgone and he has no pain. then he said it was a vein infection. what could it be?

Maybe: If your doctor said it was fasciitis it might have been, but fasciitis doesn't unsuallyhave swelling. Was he treated? Your discription sounds like infecion or phlebitis. If it re-occurs maybe you should get a second opinion.
