im 54, been running for 10 plus years. developed heal pain jan 28th after 10 miler. have not been able to run since. i assume its plantar fasciitis. any advise on treatment? foot

Bone spurs: Not necessarily. I recommend you have an evaluation with a sports medicine doctor or rehab doctor first. I doubt surgery is the answer.
