My one year old son has had blisters on his genitals and bottom. already given him a round of antibiotics and it isn't helping. could it be staph?

Cultures: Someone should unroof a few of the blisters and culture the contents, to find out what is causing them. Too many children (and adults) are treated blindly with antibiotics, with no clear idea of what is being treated. If cultures are negative it could be a virus or an allergy to the diaper material or something you're applying to his skin.
