Neuropathy: Hi BWalton, 3 fingers and then the entire R hand with asleep feeling. I would go to ER if worsens could be stroke. Otherwise a neurologist or orthopedic doctor would be the specialist that could help you. Possible carpal tunnel, cervical neuropathy are things that come to mind. Good question. Left hand. Ring finger will not straighten out, now swelling but have pain and it feels like it's asleep. This feeling is in back of hand to wrist.
