what happens if the person takes a 500mg metformin er pill but does not think she has diabetes?

Metformin: Metformin is a great drug and is used for other purposes beside diabetes. You don't need to have diabetes to take the drug. However, i wouldn't start taking this drug without supervision of a physician.
