Intraop problem: Your moms surgeon decision to stop planned operation when bleeding occurred was correct. Intraoperative bleeding can be challenging and can quickly lead to other more serious problems, like coagulopathy, hypotention and hypothermia. Okay to go with your mom to talk to the surgeon, who will know best what was done/not done during the operation. Likely your mom will need an additional procedure.
