See a dentist: Painful teeth is not normal. The dentist can determine what is causing the pain and what the appropriate treatment would be. Pain can be from a variety of reasons including: decay, gumline recession, tooth fracture, poor fitting restorations.

See Prosthodontist: Swee the specialist in occlusion (the bite) and reconstructive treatment. The jaw muscles and the bite need to be evaluated. You might both simply need night guards. These would be custom made and adjusted . Good luck. Plenty of good prosthodontists in dallas.
