I'm not sure, but should women consume less iron in their daily diet due to menstruation?

More: Women need more iron in their diet when they menstruate becuase iron in the blood is lost thru menstruation. A diet supplement with 325 mg of iron sulfate is a good idea. Have your dr do a complete blood count and iron profile to determine your iron status. If low, he may suggest iron supplementation. Meat (red) is a good source of iron.
