Need consult with sp: your period must be really heavy for a hgb to be 7. You need a full GYN work up to see if this is hormonally related Dysfxn UTX or other cause such as fibroids in the uterus or other thins... I would incourage you to see your GYN specialist ASAP

Iron: IV iron is generally given by a hematologist, a blood specialist. They can calculate how much iron you need based on your lab results. Ask your hematologist about your individual situation.
