Yes: Further blood loss will further lower your iron and red blood levels causing weakness,lightheadedness,and fatigue. Your gynecologist can advise you about periods if they are abnormally heavy but you will need proper doses of iron to build up your iron levels and red blood cell count and then stay on daily iron supplements as a menstruating female.
