A 24-year-old female asked:
My ankle has been acting up for months. It's never swollen or discolored but it feels like something's out of place or something deep inside the joint?

Loose body: It is possible to have a loose body within the joint which would give you that sensation. Alternatively, if there is laxity of the ankle, that could also give you the sensations you are describing. An evaluation with an orthopedist would help to make the diagnosis.
