See your doctor: If you indeed overscratched the skin on your ankle, you may have an infection. If the doctor sees no infection, often a prescription steroid cream will relief the itching if it is due to a dermatiitis of somesort. Fungal infections can also happen but not as often. If that is the case an antifungal may also be prescribed
