Find the source!: Inflammation increases risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, neuro-degenerative disease & accelerates the aging process. The big question is what is the source of the inflammation? It can be related to autoimmune disease like arthritis but also is often caused by chronic low-grade infections such as sinusitis & dental infections/periodontitis. Diet can also influence inflammation. See comment:.

Any symptoms?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the underlying cause would need to be treated, not the lab value. Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, .
