Balance it out: You need all 3 dietary elements(carbs, proteins and some fat/oils) in your diet. Proteins are the most important nutrient and least harmful food...So do not exclude proteins...Just choose lean proteins which are free of fats(this will include fish, eggs, nuts and low fat dairy). You can have complex carbs but stay low on refined carbs like sugary foods(sweets) and sugary drinks.
