A member asked:

Is there a good way for me to measure myself for my weight loss plan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Weight: Mostly, all you need to follow is weight. There are easy ways to check %body fat, but this is often inaccurate and confusing. You can also measure waist, thigh, hips, etc. When you lose weight, it mostly comes off all over. There may be days when you pick up some water bloat, or otherwise are discouraged by your weight. An improved waist/thigh measurement may may you feel better.
