What are good foods to eat to help remedy and keep heartburn ( acid reflux ) at bay?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a doctor...: Heartburn is very common. If symptoms are persistent for months at a time and/or cannot be relieved with dietary or lifestyle changes then it will be necessary to see a gastroenterologist and endoscopy may be needed to further evaluate. Common dietary recommendations include avoidance of citrus, chocolate, onions, mints, peppers, carbonated drinks and alcohol. Also, avoid overeating!
