I'm being treated for gerd but still having cricopharyngeal spasm that's raising my anxiety/reflux. is treatment for lpr different? would i benefit?

LPR management: Lpr (laryngopharyngeal reflux) is a variant of gerd that causes regurgitation high up the esophagus into the posterior pharynx (back of throat) which can irritate the vocal cords upper airway causing throat clearing symptoms. Treatment is aggressive acid suppressive therapy with ppi, diet and lifestyle. Often high dose ppi or ppi + histamine blocker combo therapy is recommended. Good luck.
