No, ↓ HDL & ↑ LDL: Fruits are high in sugar, including fruit sugar, fructose, which is rapidly converted by the liver, ~85% first pass, into triglyceride fat & exported into visceral fat stores. ↑ed triglycerides & visceral fat stores displaces cholesterol in LDL particles, increases LDL particle concentrations while also ↓ing large HDL particle concentrations.
