A catheter can cause irritation to the bladder and cause urge to pee and rarely erections. PL let your doc know. In the meantime make sure the catheter does not get pulled or stretched and is fixed to your thigh by a strap with a slight loop between the strap and penis- to avoid pulling. Also take 3-4 deep slow breaths when you feel a spasm coming. Hope you do well
