Thyroid nodule on u/s was 4.7cmx2.7cm hyperechoic, heterogenous & incresed intranodular & peripheral vascularity.9weeks later on ct scan it says heterogenous thyroid nodule grown to 4.7cm x 4.3 cm .should i be worried or does it sound benign?

I think you asked this question before. This nodule has grown after 9 weeks. Unless this is a hot nodule, i.e. increased iodine up take with radionuclear scan, then malignancy can't be ruled out although chance of malignancy of a hyperechoic nodule is much lower than a hypoechoic nodule. If it is a cold nodule, biopsy should be done for your peace of mind. Good luck.
