Nodules: Usually multiple thyroid nodules are benign in contrast to a solitary nodule. I'm not familiar with such a description as noted in the right upper lobe. In this situation the attending physician should sit down with the radiologist and ask him/her what the possible significance of that finding is, what, if any, other testing may be helpful and what specialists, could be consulted for advice.
