A member asked:

If tsh, ft4 and ft3 and pth were tested and all came back normal but "ft3" only was abnormal/high, what would be the likely causes? and what's the next step after this blood work result?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If a repeat T3 is still elevated, you may have a high TBG level or early hyperthyroidism. A thyroidologist or endocrinologist can advise you best.
