I have a very scarred tattoo on my forearm. the skin is so damaged that it wont be able to be fixed by laser. now im considering a skin graft. unfortunately the tattoo is very large, but i see no other option?

You are making medical assumptions which might be and probably are wrong. Best is to see a dermatologist/ surgeon and let her/him decide what is best . Good luck
